Please note:System Restore is not a backup, thus it cannot return your computer to an earlier date. A restore point only contains the essential system files, drivers and registry hives need to restore (hopefully) the basic functions of Windows. Only a backup can restore your computer to exactly the way it was on the date you made the backup.
